Questioner: What is the importance of Truth in our life?

Acharya Prashant: Why do you want to know? And would you be happy if you do not know the Truth? If you’re asking me, isn’t it because you want to know? And when you want to know, you want to know the Truth. Right?

Listener 1: Yes, Sir.

AP: That is the importance of Truth . You will not sit still, till you come in contact with it and that is the reason you are asking this question.

Don’t you see that you are so restless?

Don’t you see that there is always a chase in life?

Don’t you see that you are always raising questions?

What are all the questions for?

What are all these questions for?

They are there so that you can know. And know what?

The Truth!

That is the importance of Truth.

Till you don’t come in complete contact with the Truth, life remains miserable and there is no rest in life. There is always a feeling of something missing. A search, a chase is always on. Till you don’t get the truth, till you don’t get the Truth, come so close to it that there is no difference between you and the Truth, life remains nothing but a suffering . That is the importance of Truth.
