Where wisdom becomes experience!

HOLISTIC INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
HIDP 2.0
Living Acharya Prashant's teachings in everyday life!

HIDP is an experiential journey inward — addressing what formal education often misses: education of the self. Through role plays, recitation, music, presentations, extempore, reading, writing, group discussions, and skits, participants bring these teachings into their everyday thoughts, relationships, choices, and actions.

Where wisdom becomes experience!
SINCE 2006

It began with a question: what is education truly meant to do?

Founded by Acharya Prashant — IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad alumnus — HIDP emerged from a deeper inquiry into human life beyond careers, achievements, and conventional measures of success. After leaving behind a corporate career, he dedicated himself to the fundamental questions that shape human existence: confusion, fear, desire, relationships, and the search for meaning.

In 2006, he founded Advait Life-Education, through which HIDP was introduced as an initiative to work on the individual behind the résumé — not just preparing people for professions, but helping them understand themselves and live intelligently.

Inside the program

WHAT WE TEACH

Modules & Activities

A ten-activity journey of self-inquiry — from the roles we play to the seeking beneath them.

01
Who am I?
INQUIRY · GROUP DISCUSSION · THEATRE

Looking past name, degree and social status. Everyday scenarios staged as drama, so you can see who you are underneath the roles you play for others.

02
How Much of 'I'?
CLASSROOM DEBATE · GROUP INTERACTION

How much of your taste, choice and life decision is really yours, and how much is family pressure, media and social conditioning repeating itself through you.

03
I in Identities
ANALYSIS · SHARING · MAPPING

Breaking down the labels we carry — gender, nationality, profession — and finding a stability that does not depend on external validation.

04
I vs. I
PRESENTATIONS · SKITS · ROLE REVERSAL

The friction between old habits and present awareness, played out through skits and role reversals — so you can tell when you're reacting from memory, and when you're responding with real intelligence.

05
Soora Ke Maidan Main
POETRY RECITATION · TEXT READING

Timeless couplets from mystic poets, read closely for what they reveal about love, attachment, illusion, and time — everyday lessons hidden in old words.

06
Bhage Bhala Na Hoye
TEXT BREAKDOWN · OPEN DISCUSSION

Why running away never actually solves anything. An honest look at attachment and mentorship, and how simply paying attention can dissolve the bondages you keep fleeing from.

07
Kabir Sahab in the Corporate World
ROLE-PLAY · MUSIC · WORKPLACE SIMULATION

Kabir Sahab's couplets, staged through role-play to navigate office politics, workload stress, and ethical dilemmas — putting centuries-old wisdom directly to work in your day job.

08
Duvidha Darpan — The Dilemma Lab
CASE STUDY · GROUP ANALYSIS

No pre-packaged answers. You enter a hard situation, feel it fully, and watch which side attracts you and what that attraction is covering up.

09
Many Voices, One Seeking
RESEARCH · LIVE EXPLORATION

Teams of eight take a real question — not to win, but to gain clarity, ending in a better question than they started with.

10
Profane to Profound
PERFORMANCE · MIME · EXTEMPORE

The same song is read two ways — first at its playful, filmi surface (chhichhora), then for the profound longing hidden beneath it (bodhpoorn). Asking who the 'beloved' really is reveals how everyday love can point to a deeper seeking within.

TESTIMONIALS

In their words

Rahul ji

We took on multiple identities — a cat, an ant, someone acting like they were dying. That let us open up completely, because we forget who we normally are, always so serious about our image.

Pihu

In big families, sometimes a girl is killed right at birth — because of the money they'll need for her marriage later. That's what made me realize dowry needs to go.

Gayatri ji

Today I played a boy who harasses a girl, films her, and threatens her — to show how much freedom boys get, and how little girls actually have, even in a so-called free society.

Riya ji

I realized most of our reactions in society are borrowed, not our own. I saw sides of myself I didn't even know existed.

Ruby ji

I have to stand up for myself, I have to fight for it. I'm 35 now, and unlearning everything I've learned over those 35 years — that's really hard to break out of.

Garima ji

Acting as Tau ji was unsettling. I was afraid of messing up the performance, but feeling that conditioning surface inside me was a real wake-up call.

Sonia ji

I wrote my own script and performed it myself for the first time. Before going on stage I was terrified — once I actually did it, that fear was gone.
