Acharya Prashant: What is excellence? Is excellence different from what you normally, naturally do? If I am speaking right now, can I have two modes of speaking? When I am responding to your question, can I have two modes of responding? One, the normal mode and second, the excellent mode.
Do I have a choice?
I am responding to you right now. Can there be two types of responses; a normal response and an excellent response?
Excellence is in just responding. Excellence is not an option. Whatever you do, must be excellent. If you are completely into it, then that is excellence. If you will tell me that sir, give me an excellent response, will my answer change? I have already given you everything that I have. How can I give you an excellent answer? I have nothing saved me anymore.
So, when you say, ‘get excellence, get excellence’, it does not really make any sense. Excellence is a way of life. In every moment, there is excellence. It is not something brought about externally. It is not something that you can cultivate. It is your very way of living.
