कृताकृते च द्वन्द्वानि कदा शान्तानि कस्य वा।

एवं ज्ञात्वेह निर्वेदाद् भव त्यागपरोऽव्रती॥

To whom does the conflict of duties performed and not performed…

कृता-कृते, कृता-कृते, कृत-अकृते, performed-not performed, done-not done.

To whom does the conflict of duties performed and not performed, and of the pairs of opposites belong. When do they cease? कदा शान्तानि, द्वन्द्वानि कदा शान्तानि।

And for whom, कस्य वा।

Having thus fully enquired, through complete indifference to the world, become passionless and be devoted to renunciation.
