Angana to parbat bhayo, dehri bhai vides

Jaa babul ghar aapne, main chali piya ke des

When one sees the Real, the Truth, then the attachment to one’s conditioned past disappears. In the bright light of the Truth, the falsenesses and ignorance of the past lose their charm.

Khusro uses angana, dehri – parts of house – to denote the structures that confined you in the past. He says that they no longer attract. You once thought of this confinement as your own house, but now you realise that you actually belong elsewhere.
