The saints don't display affection at all. Affection actually means disease. Affection means disease. The saints have no affection. The saints have love and love has nothing to do with affection. Affection and affliction go together. It is not affection that characterizes a saint. It is love that characterizes him. Affection and dryness, they go together. Together always. And affection and love, they never go together. So you have to be very clear about what accompanies what.

From Belief to Bloodshed: When Identity Masquerades as Religion
Throughout history, grand ideas have been used to conceal simple impulses. One calls it defense. Another, resistance. But under the surface, it is often the same old hunger—for control, for territory, for survival. This is what happens when the mind is not trained in self-observation. When instincts are allowed to parade as principles.

When Merit Is Dethroned, a Nation Withers
A nation does not fall only to war. It crumbles when its own people begin to lose trust in it. When the youth no longer believe that merit leads to opportunity, they begin to lose faith in the very idea of a nation. The social contract is not printed on paper; it lives in the heart. When that heart withdraws, the contract collapses.

The Science Behind Spirituality
True spirituality is not superstition, ritual, or blind belief, but honest intelligence that knows facts and lives in reality. It never contradicts science; rather, it includes science and goes beyond it by enquiring into the “I” who observes the world. When logic turns inward and examines the ego, it reaches its highest flowering as spirituality.

Karma or Coincidence?
External events are largely unpredictable, but one’s inner response to them is shaped by one’s own choices and conditioning. Karma is not the event itself, but the way one experiences and responds to it. Freedom lies in building an inner core that remains steady, rather than becoming a slave to random situations.

Devi as Nature, Demon as Destruction

Linguistic Harmony and Identity: Rethinking India’s Language Dynamics
A language is not merely a tool of communication; it carries within a worldview, a way of life, and an entire cultural and spiritual lineage. Its sounds are the history of a people and the thread that ties them to their roots. In India we speak hundreds of languages, and each one tells a unique story with a deep sense of belonging.

Diwali: The Light That Must be Lit Within
To honour Shri Ram is to cultivate the same grace, doing what is right without bitterness and staying steady in the storm. The lamp outside is just a symbol; the real light has to come from within. When the mind is still, and when truth is more important than comfort, Diwali is no longer a date; it becomes the measure of one’s living.

The Age of Emotional Fragility
Emotional fragility arises because we live through borrowed self-images and fragile stories about who we are. Words and reactions do not truly wound the body, but threaten the identity we keep protecting. Real ease begins when we ask what exactly felt threatened, and see that the hurt belongs less to reality than to the story.

Mind It
Procrastination is not laziness but a sign that life is filled with things one does not truly love. Joy, freedom, and love exist only in the present, while misery and boredom are carried forward. Instead of fighting delay, one must honestly examine daily life and find work, action, and a way of living that naturally invite attention.

Why Confidence is Just Fear in Disguise
Confidence is often fear wearing a mask, arising from dependence on others’ approval and judgment. The fear is not of speaking or acting, but of how people will see us. True freedom comes not from building confidence, but from self-knowledge, where identity no longer depends on praise, rejection, or borrowed images.

Loneliness is Not the Enemy
Loneliness is not an accident caused by loss, distance, or broken relationships, but a deep incompleteness rooted in the ego’s need for support and identity. Running into noise, distraction, or shallow bonds only worsens it. Freedom begins when loneliness is faced honestly, observed deeply, and understood as a mirror of oneself.

Defeating The Monster Without Becoming a Monster
War is a necessary evil. It takes a country away from the path of national development. One day of traditional warfare can cost ₹30,000–₹50,000 crores, excluding the loss of life, infrastructure, or capability destruction. Therefore, like all right action, the right war must arise from wisdom and discretion — not impulse or populist sentiment. Strategic retaliation must serve a higher purpose.

Two nations entered the 1990s as poor economies. In fact, India was ahead of China in per capita GDP until the mid-1980s. By 1990, they were roughly equal. Today, the gap is stark. Self-Help Versus Spirituality
Self-help is limited because the same ego that suffers tries to become its own healer. True spirituality begins when one sees that real help cannot come from the old self trying to improve itself. To speak of Sant Kabir is not to speak of a distant figure from the annals of Indian mysticism. For those who can listen, he is not a poet from the past, but an eternal flame within — one that neither flickers nor flatters, but only illuminates. This Kabir Jayanti, let’s not just light lamps — let’s light what lies within. Reciting his verses is easy. Living their truth is not. But that is the only true tribute — to allow his voice to reveal all that is false and borrowed.

Kabir Saheb's message questions the very act of searching for fulfilment outside oneself. Whether through religion, relationships, success, possessions, or identity, people keep assuming that what is missing lies somewhere else. The problem is not the destination but the belief that fulfilment exists at a distance. Real freedom begins when the search turns inward, recognising that the seeker and the sought were never truly separate.

Those who are in love with awakening create methods against sleep, don’t they? What does this student want? He wants awakening. So, he is creating a method whereby he would not fall asleep. It is such a simple method and an effective one: the head must stay still and then it would not hurt. But the moment your head swings, especially if it swings downwards, it would appear as if somebody has just pulled your hair. And how hard would the pull be? As hard is your downward swing. So, the more deeply you are asleep, the more unconscious you have become, the harder will be the pull, and so you will be compelled to stay awake. Do you get this?

It is very sad that we all are attracted towards a peaceful sunset. It simply tells us that love pulls all of

Shri Ram is the source of all excellence—Kabir Sahab’s excellence, the excellence of an astronaut, the excellence of a deep-sea diver, the excellence of a professional, etc. If you don’t have excellence in what you do, it is because you have been disloyal to Ram. Without Ram, you can’t do anything nicely.

Walking in the street, sitting in your office, driving your car, typing an e-mail, what are you waiting for? You are waiting just for those few moments when you can be Kabir. Is it not happening? Don’t we spend the entire day just in hope of those few moments of sanity? What are those few moments? Let those moments not remain so rare, support them. When they call you, respond affirmatively.

It’s far easier to sit on a greatly decorated stage and talk about the virtues of Rudrākṣa, and what kind of water to drink, and why copper is useful; and all kinds of pseudo-scientific nonsense. But to really speak upon a Kabir or an Ashtavakra requires a tremendous understanding which does not come to everybody. If you are a spiritual teacher and you are saying you have not read any scripture, that raises questions on your love for the Truth.

Ego tendency is when things start dancing all over the mind. Kabir Sahab says, “Maya is that which occupies your mind.” You are attached to the brain. The “I” tendency attached to the brain is called the mind, and therefore she comes to the mind. To merely the brain, she will not be big trouble, but to the mind, she is a big attraction or distraction. One question that needs to be asked to all the unwelcome guests, “So many unwelcome guests have arrived, but Who is the host?" And then, you will hear a resounding order, ‘I am.’

Do not use your life as a waiting room. Do not wait even a second for things that merely promise but won’t deliver, as it's in the future which is unseen. Having seen that what you hope and expect will never materialize, do not wait another moment. Drop what is false. Don’t be kind or liberal; have no patience with falseness.

Eating, walking, sleeping, working, dying – these alone surely cannot mean being alive. Life is much more than the physical and mental processes. Machines can walk, eat, work. The programmed analysis that computers do is no different from what we call thinking. Machines have no role in their formation, just as we have no role in our birth. And machines can be programmed to self-terminate after a certain time, just as we die.
