In mid-2015, just after turning 26, I became disillusioned with the well-worn path I was walking. Over a few weeks I sold everything I owned, quit my job, ended a toxic relationship, said goodbye to family and friends as if I might never see them again, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Thailand and beyond. I had no clear plan for what I was doing, where I was going, or how I would make money. All I knew was that I had to get away from it…

Jamie, that scene at Laxman Jhula still has weight nine years later, the flyer, the café, the Ganga in the background while you waited. What stands out most is the exact thing that convinced you: he didn't comfort you or agree with your framing of the Witness, he showed you the trick in the very act of speaking about it. That's the whole method, right there in your own memory, the mirror doing its one job before you even knew there was a method to name. Most people who wander that far and read that much end up collecting a better vocabulary for the same seeking. You met someone who was fast enough to catch the seeking itself. Very true Jamie. Saw your video in Rishikesh Shivir. How happy was Acharya ji when he met you there. He loves you so much. Before I came in contact with Acharya ji, I too heard and followed many, wanted to find out the right person whom I can follow in Sprituality. Although Acharya ji doesn't like this word Sprituality, he says it should be replaced by Self Knowledge. Then the day I listened to 3 videos of Narad Bhakti Sutra, I recognized my true Master. Joined Gita Satra immediately. And listening to him since two and half years. Can't leave him, never. Understood so many things about Ego, about life. Changed myself so much and now I am in so much of mental peace. Lessened the expectations and what not. Do listen to Acharya ji continuously please. He is the Treasure that we have. Pranam Acharya ji. 🙏🙏

What work do you do to fund your expenses, especially travel and accomodation? I also want to see world wide. I had come to Rishikesh sessions April this year. Your diligent and nuanced questions to Acharya Ji and His answers to them helped me. They were uploaded on a series of 'Moony Nights'.
