By reading this post I came to know that so many insects die in the process of lac. It seems after reading and listening Acharyaji that we do lot of cruelty in our day today life and everything we use has some cruelty linked with it. We are just developing but at what cost no one knows.
Minakshi, you wrote that no one knows the cost, but the post just gave you the exact number, three lakh insects for one kilogram. The not-knowing isn't in the facts, it's in what we choose to do once the number is in front of us. So the real question isn't whether the cost is hidden, it's whether you'll still pick up that bangle, or that polished chair, now that you can't say you didn't know.
