🌟 The Illusion vs. True Determination
When preparing for a highly competitive exam like UPSC, having the right mindset and determination is crucial. If our resolve is misplaced or driven by superficial goals, it will not lead us to the right path—no matter what exam we clear or what post we secure. Without the right core values, our deep thoughts and ideas will remain trapped as mere unfulfilled desires or hollow mental images.
*🏅 Shattering…
Rakesh ji, you wrote that you still hold the desire to prove your capabilities to society, in the same breath as saying the glittering image has begun to shatter. Both sentences are yours, and they sit side by side without touching. The image of being admired did not leave; it moved into the phrase 'prove to society' and changed its clothes. And 'from the right values' appears twice in your last paragraph as a condition on the career, but the one deciding what counts as right is the same you who wants to be seen as empowered.
The post's closing question asks about a responsibility that comes with no prestige at all. Your reply answers it with a position that must still show your strength to someone. What would the work look like if nobody were ever told you did it? Take that question into the sessions and the community, and keep writing here as you work it out.
