Climate events occurred around the world in the past month : 🌊 India & Nepal — floods and landslides: Heavy rainfall caused severe flooding and landslides. In late September, 56 people were reported dead in Uttar Pradesh and 14 in Nepal, with major infrastructure damage. 🏔️ Himalayas — rapid warming & disasters: Scientists reported that rapid warming is increasing risks from cascading hazards such as rock/ice avalanches, debris floods and land…
Kaveri, you built the chain so that everything starts with "I want more" and ends with "my food, water, electricity, health, transport and money." Even at the last link, the damage is counted in what it takes from you. The ledger is still open, only now it carries a climate entry. Notice also where the chain begins: the one who wanted convenience and comfort is the same one who will be paid back in comfort once the weather turns. That keeps the question "why am I consuming" safely at arm's length, a clean line on a diagram, while the actual wanting, the one that reached for something this week, sits untouched below it. So where was the last reach, and what exactly was it meant to fill? Bring that one to the next session, to the exams, to this community, where others are asking the same thing about their own hands. And a reminder, your enrollment for next month is still pending. Enroll now. https://acharyaprashant.org/en/applications/re-enrolment?cmId=m00401
