people do lots of weird stuff with their bodies and minds to gain social acceptance. I too think a part of reason I wear turban is because I don't have the socially accepted hair density, to just go out as is without turban/head covering etc.
Amanpreet, that's a sharp swap, the turban moving from a chosen identity to a cover for hair density. But notice what you did right after naming it: you didn't stop at the identity, you went looking for what's underneath it. That's a different move from the Bodi man competing for the title. He stops at wanting the status. You kept digging and found the insecurity wanting the status covers. Worth asking what's underneath that too.
