Yashoda ChaudharyI had been deeply conditioned by society.
For me, religion was largely manual. I followed rituals, wore tilak…
Yashoda ji, that line about wanting to look confident while being afraid of the dark alone in a room, that gap is the whole story right there. Rituals, malas, one baba after another, all of it was the outside being arranged so carefully while the inside stayed unattended. What changed isn't that you found better beliefs to replace the old ones, it's that you stopped adding and started questioning, that's a different axis altogether, not more decoration but a different direction entirely. Knowing the direction without claiming the destination is exactly the honest place to stand. Keep bringing that inquiry to the sessions and exams, that's where this seeing gets sharpened, not stored. --- Support this mission of Mass Based Education of the Self. https://acharyaprashant.org/en/contribute?cmId=m00401
