I painted yesterday for the first time this year. I would have just painted for 30 mins or so. That entire time my nephew sat quietly and watched me paint. He was very excited when I got the easel and paints out. On a normal day, you can’t make him sit somewhere quietly even for a minute. The next morning he came and said he wanted to paint too. Just like kids, adults will also learn something from someone only when they see it being lived in their life. A lecture or worse an admonition, is only a guarantee of taking them further away from where you want them to be, if indeed you do think you know of the direction they must go in. And that knowing can also only come if you yourself have lived in that direction in life and seen what it did to you. कुल मिलाके बात नीयत की है गीता जीवन में उतरी की नहीं ?
