Climate events occurred around the world in the past month : 🌊 India & Nepal — floods and landslides: Heavy rainfall caused severe flooding and landslides. In late September, 56 people were reported dead in Uttar Pradesh and 14 in Nepal, with major infrastructure damage. 🏔️ Himalayas — rapid warming & disasters: Scientists reported that rapid warming is increasing risks from cascading hazards such as rock/ice avalanches, debris floods and landslides in the Himalayas. 🔥 Europe — extreme wildfire season: By the end of September, about 680,000 hectares had burned across Europe, making 2026 one of the continent's most severe fire seasons on record. 🌊 Pacific — exceptional tropical-storm activity: September saw unusually intense Pacific storm activity, associated with an exceptionally strong El Niño; several Category 5 storms formed. 🌧️ India — uneven monsoon: Early September rainfall was 26% below normal nationally, raising concerns about agriculture and water availability even as some regions experienced destructive flooding. 🌡️ Global ocean warming: Scientists reported exceptionally warm ocean conditions around Europe and the Mediterranean, contributing to marine and climate stresses. I want more and more (convenience and comfort ) ⬇️ I consume more goods, energy and services ⬇️ companies produce and transport more more resources and energy are used ⬇️ emissions and environmental pressure increase ⬇️ society collectively alters the climate ⬇️ extreme events become more likely and intense ⬇️ those changes eventually affect my food, water, electricity, health, transport and money. So collectively it is becomes one cycle and now the question is not remains only to what I consumed , Is goes further to Why I am consuming and is it really the necessity to consume. And this address the actor, the doer not the action. The actor who constantly feel incomplete and in the search of completing ,fulfilling we try to fill the ego with external things which leads to destruction of mother Nature.
