Acharya Prashant explains that there is no such thing as being "sexually liberated." He argues that bondage is not on sex but on the mind, and therefore, liberation must also be of the mind. To illustrate this, he uses the analogy of being "optically liberated," which is a meaningless concept because the eyes themselves are not in bondage; it is the mind behind them that directs their movement and focus. He finds the idea of sexual liberation, where the mind remains a slave while the sexual organs are free to act, to be absurd. The speaker identifies modern relationship issues, such as those seen on dating apps like ghosting and having multiple partners, as symptoms of a deranged mind. He asserts that these problems are not new but are now more openly expressed. This madness, he claims, is not limited to the sexual sphere but pervades all aspects of a person's life where spirituality is absent. He points out that this inner turmoil and sexual frustration have existed for a long time, and the current generation is simply not hiding the pre-existing filth due to the lack of a spiritual renaissance. Acharya Prashant posits that human beings are inherently pleasure-seeking. When the higher joy of consciousness, which comes from spirituality, is absent, people inevitably turn to the lower pleasures of the body to find relief. This search becomes a compulsion, like a drug, because life lacks a higher purpose or fulfilling interests. When people have no engagement in enriching pursuits like literature, science, or art, their inner world becomes a barren desert, leading them to seek solace in physical gratification. Furthermore, he redefines prostitution, stating it is not confined to women or specific locations. Prostitution, in his view, is the act of using the body solely for the purpose of sustaining the body, without any higher aim in life. By this definition, anyone—man or woman—who uses their body to obtain money or material benefits is a prostitute. He concludes that this form of prostitution is all-pervasive in a society devoid of a higher purpose, making its presence on dating apps, in offices, and homes unsurprising.
