Acharya Prashant addresses a request from a woman who believes that his personal cup has acquired a spiritual 'charge' or 'vibrations' and is willing to offer a blank check to possess it. He dismisses this as a form of materialism, explaining that seeking spiritual progress through physical objects is a misunderstanding of spirituality. He emphasizes that the purpose of spiritual teachings is to free oneself from the material world, yet people often turn the teachings themselves into material objects of worship. He notes that while symbols like books are useful as reminders, the focus should remain on the knowledge they contain rather than the physical object.
