Acharya Prashant addresses the recurring failure of political revolutions, specifically referencing the recent unrest in Nepal and historical movements like the Arab Spring. He explains that while young people often take to the streets with genuine hope for change, their efforts frequently end in heartbreak because the revolutions remain superficial. He argues that even successful external revolutions often fail to bring meaningful change because they do not address the root cause of the problem, which lies within the individual. If the people choosing the leaders remain internally enslaved by their own conditioning and ignorance, they will continue to elect or support oppressive systems, regardless of the political structure.
