Acharya Prashant explains that when everything in the world becomes available through the internet and cheap data, people immediately pick up the worst things. The result of cheap data is that whatever is the worst of the worst has reached every household. This is because the animal within was searching for filth. A pig will not search for sweets; even if you make it stand in front of a sweet shop, it will go and sniff the drain flowing ahead. Man is that pig. It sounds very vulgar to hear, 'Are we pigs? We have worn clothes, we bathed in the morning, how did we become pigs?' We even used a certain shampoo and then a conditioner. I have a rose-scented body wash, how can I be a pig? Whether we are pigs or not is determined by what we are eating. If we are eating filth, then what have we become? So, look at what we keep eating on the internet. The speaker states that the most vile people have become famous in the last five to seven years. Look at today's influencers on Instagram or YouTube; they are all products of the last five to seven years. And they are extremely vile and lecherous. And who are the ones watching them? Their subscribers are the same generation being talked about, the 15, 12, 14, 18, 22-year-olds. Filth spreads very quickly, it spreads on its own because we are animals, we need it. Wherever it is seen, we will immediately take it. You go to a hospital out of compulsion, but where filth is being showered, you go with your own happiness, for your own fun. The right thing is done with great difficulty, and the wrong things happen on their own. In this filth that has spread, one value is very important: 'I can do anything, don't stop me,' and 'Having fun is my birthright.' The old things that used to stop this value included spirituality. Because spirituality tells you how much you are destroyed by having fun and that if you want your well-being, you have to go against yourself. The current value is not to go against oneself but to make oneself happy. The ideal is no longer Krishna or Ram. Now the ideal is the vulgar, rogue, and lewd person sitting on social media. All the traffic from cheap data is going towards filth. Today's generation is getting its philosophy of life from some vile YouTuber. When you get your philosophy from there, how will you live your life? The information age has actually led to a decline in the knowledge level because inferior material is flooding the 24 hours a person has, crowding out the right knowledge.
