Acharya Prashant addresses a questioner whose parents are in remission from cancer but remain deeply depressed and fearful of a relapse. He emphasizes that when time is perceived to be limited, it becomes even more precious and should be spent with greater caution and sensitivity. He argues that since death is inevitable for everyone, including healthy individuals, those facing a higher probability of illness must be even more vigilant about not wasting their remaining time in grieving, lamenting, or spreading sadness. Acharya Prashant suggests that instead of succumbing to a 'situation center' of despair, one should face mortality head-on and treat every day as a celebration. He advises the questioner to encourage their parents to explore life, travel, and eat together, making the best possible use of the present moment. He concludes that when something is available only in a small quantity, it must be spent with even more care and freedom, rather than being squandered in fear.
