Acharya Prashant explains the fundamental difference between will power and spiritual strength. He states that while will power is a tool of the ego used for mundane tasks, spiritual strength originates from the soul and is essential for liberation. He emphasizes that liberation requires the surrender of personal will, allowing a greater power to assist. The ego often clings to its small capabilities, like a person holding a small pistol while ignoring a powerful cannon. To access spiritual strength, one must recognize the futility of the ego's efforts and let go of old attachments, even when the new path is not yet visible.
