Acharya Prashant explains the teachings of Kabir Saheb and Bulleh Shah, emphasizing that spiritual liberation is not achieved through external rituals like visiting Mecca or bathing in the Ganges. He argues that if these actions are driven by one's own ego and self-interest, they only serve to strengthen the 'I' rather than dissolve it. The human ego is compared to a fire that can be fanned by the very efforts meant to extinguish it. Therefore, performing specific, 'special' deeds often becomes just another ornament for the ego, providing a sense of pride and social prestige.
