Acharya Prashant explains that it is very difficult to form a relationship of true love because true love is like a blow to the chest. He counters the common complaint that true love cannot be found, stating instead that people cannot bear true love. He questions whether one could handle it if they found it. The speaker dismisses the romanticized notion, often found in poetry, of being a capable person who was deceived by life and couldn't find true love, calling this a lie. He directly challenges the listener, asking if they are worthy or even have the intention to bear true love, claiming that one would not be able to stand before a true lover for even two days and would run away. The speaker asserts that people do not truly want love; they want delusion and deception. They seek someone who can keep them in beautiful deceptions and colorful dreams, someone who reassures them that they are not cunning or corrupt and that no one is more beautiful, virtuous, or knowledgeable than them. This desire for someone to accept all their flaws is described as a conspiracy. This conspiracy is based on a mutual agreement: we accept the other's flaws so that they will accept ours. People avoid inspiring their partners to become better because that would put pressure on them to improve as well, which requires effort. Therefore, people do not want their partners to become better. Any desire for a partner's betterment is limited to how it can serve one's own enjoyment, such as the partner earning more money, even through corrupt means. This is not betterment but an arrangement for enjoyment. True progress is internal, and when one undergoes this real inner progress, many people will become upset. A true lover is one who stands by you during this real progress. Such a person would say, 'It's okay if there's no money and we face worldly hardships. You move forward and become what you are destined to be. Blossom like a flower. We are content in that; that is our goal.' The speaker concludes that finding such a person means finding a true lover.
