Acharya Prashant explains that the kind of support most people want is like what diapers provide. He states, "You keep shitting, and somebody else keeps taking your shit." This is what people call a sweet and supportive person. He argues that most people never evolve beyond the psychological age of a young child, such as three, four, ten, or twelve years old. Consequently, they need to be consoled like kids. Using the example of a crying two-year-old, he points out that one cannot talk reason to them or demonstrate the possibility of living in transcendental joy. Instead, a two-year-old needs to be picked up, caressed, kissed, and rocked. This physical comfort convinces the child that they are loved and not abandoned or orphaned. While this is appropriate for a toddler, it is not alright for someone who is twenty years old. However, even at the age of twenty, most people aspire for this childish form of support. They want someone to take them in their arms and offer a shoulder to weep on. They are essentially asking, "Will you be my 'daipu'?" The speaker explains this term as a combination of "die" and "poo," suggesting that with so much "poo," one can only die. He satirically describes a competition where people boast about whose partner can handle more of their "shit," culminating in the ultimate partner who not only takes the shit but lives in the sewer, eating, breathing, and bathing in it.
