Acharya Prashant explains that humanity's attempts to address environmental crises through clever methods like renewable or green energy are often deceptive, as the underlying desire for consumption remains unchanged. He argues that people seek ways to maintain their high energy requirements without reducing their consumption, which is a form of self-delusion. He points out that many cities globally are already becoming uninhabitable due to extreme temperatures, leading to their abandonment. While the wealthy may believe they can escape these consequences through money or technology, the speaker emphasizes that nature is indifferent to human suffering and does not actively seek to punish us. Instead, nature operates according to its own laws, and human interference simply triggers natural reactions that our fragile existence cannot withstand.
