Acharya Prashant explains that to grasp the essence of the Hanuman Chalisa, one must first understand the nature of Shri Rama. Citing Sant Tulsidas, he defines Shri Rama as the ultimate Truth or Brahma, who is beyond the flow of time, unperceivable by thought, and incomparable. Shri Rama represents the state beyond the three qualities of nature. Therefore, Hanuman symbolizes a consciousness that is entirely oriented toward this ultimate Truth. Although the physical body is animalistic and rooted in nature, Hanuman represents the rebellious consciousness that seeks liberation from these natural bondages to serve the Truth.
