Acharya Prashant defines spirituality as the process of self-elevation and refusing to remain in a fallen state. He explains that while everyone seeks progress in their own way, true spirituality begins when one stops following personal whims and instead surrenders to the truth. He distinguishes between acting out of personal desire, which leads to suffering, and acting from the center of the soul, which leads to elevation. He clarifies that the voice of the soul is not a literal sound but the silence of awareness that observes and negates the petty demands of the mind. By removing the 'dirt' of the ego, one's true nature reveals itself naturally.
