Acharya Prashant explains that one should not choose a profession based on potential earnings first and then look for interests; rather, one must first find what brings peace and light to the mind. He emphasizes that work should be something one can immerse themselves in completely, as the ultimate goal of all movement and action is to reach a state of stillness and peace. Once a person finds work that provides constant peace, they will naturally perform it with excellence, which will eventually lead to a sufficient income for a comfortable life. He warns that temporary peace is cruel because it only highlights what is missing without providing a lasting solution.
