Acharya Prashant addresses a situation where an individual wishes to pursue the truth while remaining in a relationship with someone who is not interested in it. He advises that the commitment to the truth must be absolute and settled, never becoming a choice or a tussle between the truth and the world. The right side, representing the truth, must be beyond all questions and doubts, as it is dearer than life itself. By making the truth the non-negotiable foundation of one's life, one gains the necessary strength and blessings to handle worldly relationships. He explains that trying to hold onto both the truth and the world will cause tremendous strain and pain, which serves as a test of one's love. The individual must not be sandwiched between the two, but should instead use the assurance gained from the truth to tackle worldly matters rightly. While one may have the compassionate intention to carry the other person along, the outcome depends on the other's level of ignorance. Ultimately, the right side cannot be left, but the left side can be managed with the strength derived from one's devotion to the truth.
