Acharya Prashant explains that love is not a mysterious or complex concept but is fundamentally linked to liberation. He defines love as the act of helping someone break free from their bondages and suffering. For an animal like a monkey, suffering is limited to physical needs like hunger or fear; therefore, providing food and safety constitutes love for them. However, human suffering is much deeper, rooted in mental and existential angst. Consequently, true love for a human being must involve aiding their mental and spiritual liberation rather than just providing physical comforts or sensory pleasures.
