Acharya Prashant emphasizes the necessity of self-education within formal academic institutions. He argues that while technical education is valuable, it becomes a burden if students do not understand themselves or their purpose in life. He proposes that educational structures should include dedicated courses on self-awareness to ensure students are clear about their identity and life direction before entering the professional world. He notes that while he has moved to a global platform, he remains committed to working with students at institutions like the IITs to implement these frameworks for inner clarity.
