Acharya Prashant addresses the fear of death by explaining that this fear is intrinsically linked to how one defines and lives their life. He asserts that the fear of death is not a concern of the dead but of those who consider themselves living in a flawed way. This fear arises from attachments, possessions, and the ego's identification with the physical body and material objects. He suggests that a life filled with attachment to things like reputation, information, and material wealth—symbolized by a bangle on a wrist—inevitably leads to the fear of losing them. To overcome the fear of death, one must transform their way of living, reducing attachments and cleaning the definition of life itself. A life lived correctly, free from the burden of accumulation and false identification, naturally dissolves the fear of death.
