Acharya Prashant addresses the concern that while he often speaks about women's empowerment, he seems to ignore the exploitation of men. He begins by stating that he talks about women's empowerment because the majority of women in the country still need support and are oppressed. However, he agrees with the questioner that in the last 10-20 years, a class of modern, educated women has emerged where a 'role reversal' is taking place, with the woman becoming the exploiter. While this is still a minority of cases, he explains that it is important to understand the reasons behind this phenomenon. Acharya Prashant identifies three primary reasons for this shift: cultural, financial, and personal. The cultural reason stems from a 'cultural vacuum' created by a superficial understanding of liberalism and feminism. In the traditional setup, both men and women had certain duties and rights. Now, some women have shed their traditional duties, viewing them as exploitation, while retaining their rights. Conversely, men have lost their traditional rights but are still expected to fulfill their traditional duties, such as being chivalrous and protective. This has created an imbalance where women have rights without responsibilities, and men have responsibilities without rights. The second reason is financial. When a person has to earn their own money, a sense of responsibility naturally follows. In many cases where women become exploiters, they are not financially independent and are living off their husband's or father's money. This unearned money can corrupt a person from within. The speaker notes that surprisingly, the labor participation rate for women in India has decreased in the last few decades, especially in urban areas, despite the rise of feminism. When a woman has unearned money and free time, she may engage in absurd activities. The third and most important reason is personal, specifically, the man's lust. Biologically, men's lust is more pronounced, and modern media has amplified it intensely. This makes the man subservient to the woman, as he is willing to bow down to any extent to satisfy his lust. The woman recognizes this and exploits his weakness. The man gives her importance not for her inner qualities but for her physical attractiveness, which gives her an undeserved power that she may misuse.
