Acharya Prashant explains that if a long-term relationship ends abruptly due to one partner cheating, it reveals that the physical aspect was absolutely central to that relationship. He states that people often feel guilty or ashamed to accept that 99.99% of their relationships are just sexual. Consequently, they cover up this reality with fancy names and convince themselves that the relationship is not just physical. This self-deception, however, falls to pieces when instances like cheating occur, exposing the relationship's true foundation. The speaker likens this behavior to that of animals, stating that humans are fundamentally animals. Just as animals can become extremely violent if they discover their mate being stolen away, humans react strongly to physical infidelity. He uses the example of a warning sign about not disturbing dogs when they are eating, fighting, or mating to emphasize the primal nature of these acts. He asserts that human relationships are often similar; we are fundamentally animals, but cunning ones. Unlike other animals who do not try to obfuscate their intentions, humans engage in long courtships and use various pretenses to hide their fundamental, animalistic objectives. He notes that in a man-woman relationship, neither partner would dare confess the purely physical nature of their desire, especially in India. He humorously adds that if a woman were to be honest about wanting only a man's body, the man would likely not be offended, suggesting it is far better to be honest. Acharya Prashant concludes that very rare are the relationships that exist on a higher plane. Although humans have moved out of the jungle, the jungle is very much alive and kicking within us. He explains that in the grand scheme of evolutionary history, it has not been a long time since we migrated out of the jungle, and we are pretty recent immigrants, which is why the jungle remains within.
