Acharya Prashant observes that humanity's relationship with physical nature is characterized by extreme violence and exploitation. He explains that this inner hatred and discontentment with existence is not limited to the environment but manifests in education, politics, relationships, and the economy. This occurs because humans act from a wrong center or identity, leading to a messed-up world. He points out that the coronavirus is a direct consequence of this exploitative relationship with flora and fauna. While society often portrays the virus as a demon or monster, Acharya Prashant argues that the virus is not to blame. He asserts that humans forced the virus out of its natural habitat in the jungles through destruction and consumption. The virus, which is essentially a heap of genetic information with little to no consciousness, is simply following its nature to mutate and propagate. He concludes that the problem lies not with the virus or chemicals like carbon dioxide, but with human actions and the failure of humanity to do what it must.
