Acharya Prashant explains that the dullness experienced when dropping desire is a result of the ego's limited perspective, as desire-led action is the only reality most people have known. He clarifies that action does not cease when desire is removed; instead, a different center of action emerges that provides limitless energy and allows for powerful deeds to occur through non-doing. The fear and vacuum felt during this transition are merely the ego's reaction to its own perceived death, as the cluttered mind views emptiness as a threat to its survival.
