You are a victim of this propaganda, which has told you that you are the soul and the world is heaven. However, the world is not heaven; it is a jungle, and in a jungle, the law of the jungle prevails. The jungle of trees and shrubs is honest; it has no civilization, no culture, and no false mask of civilization and culture. A lion states directly, 'If I am hungry, I will kill.' When a lion kills, it does not say it killed for the sake of religion, or because the prey was impure, an infidel, or a heretic. The lion will simply say it killed for its own self-interest. A man also kills, but he never openly admits that he killed for his self-interest. A man will say he killed because the other was breaking rules and regulations, or was a threat to world peace. So, a man is a jungle creature, but along with being a jungle creature, he is also duplicitous and dishonest. An animal also kills, but it clearly states it killed for its selfish stomach. A man also kills, but he will not clearly state that he killed for his own self-interest; he will invoke high ideals, saying he killed for self-respect or for the nation. You have genuinely believed that 'God made man in his own image,' that man is God's greatest creation. Can you not see that man is far more dangerous than animals? Can you not see that on this Earth, man has eliminated all other animals? Only one animal remains now: man. If you go back 100,000 years, there were trillions of animals of thousands of species, and at most, a few hundred thousand humans. And in just a few years, what has man done? Now there are 8 billion humans, and only a handful of animals are left. And which animals are left? Only those that are useful to man. Dogs are left because they are useful to man. Cows, buffaloes, goats, and sheep are left because they are useful to man. Whichever animal is not useful to man is going extinct. Whichever tree is useful to you survives; whichever tree is not useful to you is not seen. Man is the most dangerous of all animals. You don't seem to understand this. You are so unaware of the reality of humanity. Man is the animal that the entire jungle trembles before. Man has destroyed the entire jungle. And you are surprised, wondering why love, compassion, and tolerance are not seen. Love, compassion, and tolerance will not be seen just like that. It takes a lot of hard work for them. For that, a Jesus has to give his life. For that, a Buddha, a Mahavir has to give his life. For that, a Ram, a Krishna has to be incarnated. For that, countless sages and saints have to write numerous scriptures. It takes a lot of effort for a human to understand even a little bit of love.
