Acharya Prashant highlights the catastrophic consequences of climate change, specifically focusing on the melting of Himalayan glaciers. He explains that as these glaciers melt, they will initially cause massive flooding, followed by severe water scarcity for the millions of people in India who depend on Himalayan rivers. He notes that this is not a distant threat but a reality unfolding within the next few decades. Using the example of Ladakh, he describes how glacial lakes are reaching dangerous levels and bursting, leading to the destruction of crops, infrastructure, and lives. He criticizes the government's handling of these crises, citing instances where scientific advice was ignored in favor of destructive methods like blasting.
