Description

Acharya Prashant explains that while the human body is material, there is an inner consciousness that is unfulfilled and discontented. In its ignorance, this consciousness seeks fulfillment through various material objects, substances, and experiences such as money, drugs, power, and entertainment. He points out that the current education system focuses exclusively on objective knowledge, teaching us about the physical world and anatomy while neglecting the one who perceives and uses this information. This lack of self-knowledge leads to inner dissatisfaction, frustration, and hatred. He argues that while objective education can reveal the secrets of atomic energy, it cannot teach an individual how to use that power wisely. Without understanding the self—including one's own jealousy, fear, and incompleteness—man is prone to destructive behavior. Acharya Prashant concludes that true education must take an individual inwards to observe and learn about their own nature, which is the only way to achieve freedom from inner turmoil.
