He points out that when a relationship arises from the feeling that “something is missing in me,” it becomes a contract of exchange pleasure for pleasure, dependence for dependence and such arrangements inevitably turn violent or bitter when self-interest is threatened. Acharya Ji clarifies that aloneness does not mean being antisocial; it means inner completeness, a freedom within that does not exploit or cling to others. From this center of aloneness, relationships can exist without control, ownership, or fear, and only then can there be truthfulness and compassion. He explains that true love is not romantic, sugary, or comforting, but often appears hard and unglamorous because it is about the other’s right living, not one’s own emotional satisfaction. True love, he says, comes from inner completeness and expresses itself as genuine companionship and support for truth, not as dependency or emotional bargaining. 🎧 Listen to Acharya Prashant on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2QmVEAAnsNE7Xs0MW0Li8Y?si=09fbcbc7c99c469b&nd=1&dlsi=2d753e5523df4ceb Music Credits: Milind Date ~~~~~~
