Description

Acharya Prashant explains that man exploits everything he can, such as the Earth for crops and the atom for energy. This exploitation is not considered immoral; in fact, society rewards the most clever exploiters. Since man receives recognition and reward for exploiting, he will not spare the woman. The human female is biologically conditioned to desire a nest, just like an animal female. However, for an animal, the nest is the end of the story, whereas for humans, there is society beyond biology. The woman's desire for a nest provides an opportunity for the man to exploit her even more. Unlike in the animal kingdom where the male bird does not exploit the vulnerable female, the human male is likely to exploit the female when she is in the nest caring for a baby. The woman must go beyond her biological self because the nest is an expression of it. As long as the nest exists, the woman will keep getting exploited. The speaker asserts that the woman is her own worst enemy because she is so biology-driven and actively seeks the nest, which he calls her prison. While the man is indifferent to the nest, it is the woman who demands it, asking for marriage and a house. The speaker states that the revolution must arise from the woman, as she is the more oppressed of the two genders. By rebelling against her body and biological conditioning, she will be the harbinger of a revolution that will liberate all of mankind, including men. Just as a woman gives birth to a man, she must also give birth to the freedom of man. He criticizes modern liberation movements like feminism as being body-centric, merely moving from veiling the body to revealing it, which is still a focus on the body and not true liberation. The only way to go beyond the body is through the way of Truth, the spiritual way. Spirituality is the only path that can take one out of their body identification.
