Acharya Prashant addresses the concern of maintaining consistency toward goals while facing societal pressure to marry. He asserts that in the modern age, physical compulsion is no longer a valid excuse for submission, as legal institutions and education provide women with the means to resist. He argues that what is often labeled as exploitation or defeat is actually a willful surrender or a deal made by the individual. He suggests that women often yield to patriarchal demands due to greed, ignorance, fear, or the illusion of a comfortable life provided by someone else.
