Acharya Prashant explains that the intelligence of the body is limited solely to its physical preservation and reproduction. While the body will instinctively pull back from fire to protect itself, it lacks the discernment to steer away from bad company or harmful habits like alcoholism. The body only demands physical survival, food, sleep, and procreation, regardless of the quality or the impact these have on one's life. Therefore, what is often called bodily intelligence is actually just a physical instinct or tendency that does not care about liberation or higher consciousness.
