Acharya Prashant explains that seeing a Guru in dreams is a positive sign, indicating that the mind is becoming ready to learn and has accepted the Guru's authority. He notes that the mind usually resists acknowledging anything beyond its own boundaries or experiences, often insisting that it can know everything on its own. Accepting that there is something greater than oneself is a significant step, as the work of spiritual growth cannot begin without this initial surrender. He clarifies that dreams do not provide divine visions from the beyond; rather, they reflect what is already within the mind. Even if the Guru's message in the dream is unclear, the presence of the image itself is a symbolic indicator that a new chapter in life is beginning. Dreams are useful tools for self-knowledge because they reveal what is hidden or suppressed in one's consciousness during the waking state. Acharya Prashant concludes that since the dream shows the seeker is prepared, they should not hesitate and must move forward on their spiritual journey.
