Acharya Prashant explains that objects and the subject are two ends of the same duality. He argues that since objects are transitory and lack inherent existence, the subject—the 'I' that perceives them—cannot exist independently either. He warns against the delusion of believing that the world is non-existent while the self remains as a witness, noting that the subject is as much a mirage as the object. When the world is removed, the subject has no foundation to stand upon. This disappearance of both subject and object is described as a vast nothingness, which is our real nature. He clarifies that this nothingness is not a negative state but the highest positive reality where the truth shines once illusions are negated.
