Acharya Prashant explains that the ego is not a problem to be discarded but is actually the entity within that seeks peace and desires to settle into the heart. He clarifies that every desire of the ego is ultimately a desire for peace, and therefore, one should not block it. He challenges the notion of coming to a spiritual gathering only to return to a mundane, suffering-filled life. He asserts that his role is not to provide tools to make a miserable life more tolerable or to 'decorate one's prison,' but to question why one insists on remaining in such environments, whether it be a toxic relationship or a soul-crushing job.
