Acharya Prashant addresses the growing trend of 'illiterate swag' in India, where individuals take pride in being dropouts or uneducated. He notes that this disdain for education and science has permeated politics, spirituality, and entrepreneurship. He argues that while people use modern technology like smartphones and cars, they often hold regressive, superstitious, and casteist beliefs that are fundamentally opposed to the scientific principles that made such technologies possible. He emphasizes that democracy without education leads to the dominance of ignorance, as votes are counted by heads regardless of what is inside them.
