Acharya Prashant addresses a questioner who claims that women lack wisdom and discretion, suggesting that fathers and brothers must control their lives and marriages to prevent them from making mistakes. He strongly critiques this patriarchal mindset, questioning the basis on which the questioner assumes his intellect is superior to his sister's. He explains that spirituality defines the self beyond gender; the soul is neither male nor female. Therefore, treating women as inferior or incapable of making their own decisions is a fundamental misunderstanding of spiritual truths. He points out that while men may have more physical muscle power, women often possess greater physical endurance and longevity, and there is no mental field where women are inherently inferior to men.
