Acharya Prashant explains that global problems like climate change and environmental destruction stem from humanity's fundamental error of searching for truth and satisfaction in the wrong place. Using the analogy of a person digging up their entire lawn to find a ring that isn't there, he illustrates how humans destroy nature and kill animals in a futile attempt to find happiness within the material world. He emphasizes that truth is beyond nature, and by refusing to acknowledge that our direction of search is wrong, we resort to violence and destruction. This persistent ignorance is rooted in ego and a refusal to admit that the very center of the seeker is flawed.
