Description

Acharya Prashant discusses the life and teachings of Lalded, a 13th-century Kashmiri mystic who defied social and religious categories. Born as Laleshwari, she experienced an unhappy marriage and eventually broke away from worldly relationships after realizing that one experience of suffering was enough to understand the totality of worldly traps. Unlike most people who repeat the same mistakes, Lalded sought a guru and proved herself a worthy disciple. When she asked for the essence of all teachings, her guru told her to live as she was, making her inner and outer selves one. Consequently, she dropped all clothing, becoming the only female saint in history to live naked, symbolizing her total detachment from worldly customs and her identification with the untouched emptiness within.
