Acharya Prashant explains that one must begin by assessing their own state of awareness and that of those around them. He points out that most people are not only ignorant of the truth but are also unaware of their own ignorance. He compares such individuals to addicts who are deeply unconscious and intoxicated by their own delusions. When family members or society make demands based on this lack of awareness, one must decide whether to fulfill those demands or provide help through treatment. Just as it would be irresponsible to give more drugs to an addict who is pleading for them, it is equally misguided to fulfill the irrational desires of those who lack spiritual clarity.
